Alex’s Steaks & Wings

Wow. If you love a proper buffalo chicken cheesesteak, do yourself a favor and go here. I have sampled many over the years from different places and this one tops them all. The other reviews of this place are right. This is real deal. What makes this one stand out is the balance and the flavor. There’s a great balance of buffalo sauce to meat and cheese, but also the chicken itself is seasoned very well on its own. Then there’s the wings. Another wow. I opted for mild sauce. Just the right amount of heat with the usual zing. What stands out here is the chicken. Every wing was very well cooked. Each piece was coated in a batter and nicely crispy even 40 minutes after being cooked. This is the way all wings should be. Definitely delicious!

The food was good. Even had to travel with it and it remained warm though the bread was steamed due to our travel. Would love to return next time I'm in the area and eat it fresher. We don't get the right bread or Cooper Sharp in our area. **Edit** Back again after visiting the Elmwood Zoo. Got 3 types of cheesesteaks, wings, fries, and chicken tenders for the kids. Best and largest cheesesteaks and wings I've had. Will be back and sending family to visit. Must visit spot when we're in the area now. Alex is a stand up guy and enjoyed a quick convo.

Amazing experience... One of the best phili cheesesteak places out there, way better than the name brand places like Geno's steak. This was a stopover on our way back from the nearby Lego discovery center - it was so good that I wish I lived nearby to try their food once in a while. Note take-out only, no in-house sitting arrangements.

Wow just Wow!!! Happened to have Family in town and chat GPT for a new cheesesteak spot…. Alex did NOT disappoint… Slow cooked ribeye on a Liscio’s Roll with cooper sharp… Dad had the 911 that made his eyes roll in the back of his head… Wings were Huge and Fresh… typically I do not like breaded wings but these are a Korean style… Super crunchy and moist… Asked for sauce on the side to preserve the crawnchy… Can’t wait to order again as this is my new favorite!!!

This is a great place if you're in the mood for an amazing steak sandwich and/or some wings. We've ordered from here a few times already and have not been let down at any point. The steaks are delicious. The wings are pretty large, too. I definitely feel like I get my money's worth when we order from here. The staff has been kind and helpful with great attitudes every time we visit this establishment. Do yourself a favor, and give them a try.

We ordered various party trays for our soccer team dinner. It was delivered to our hotel right on time. The food was delicious and plentiful. All the boys and parents were extremely happy with the food especially the cheesesteak sandwiches. The price was great for everything we ordered. I definitely recommend their catering for large groups.

Def one of the best cheesesteaks in the area! We wanted to sample, so we got cheesesteak, buffalo chk steak, ceaser wrap, wings and fries! Buffalo chicken -meat was good chuck juicey chicken but sandwich was heavy cheese/blue cheese, then Buffalo. Ceaser wrap was decent Fries very good! Wings are breaded, go with the recommendation of sauce on the side to toss at home.

Great big wings, amazing sauces, and amazing cheese steaks. I was in the area for business as we are from North NJ. Not only the food was great, the staff was very nice. And if you’re an Eagles fan this place makes you feel like you’re at home. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!
